With very easy access this venue is great for a few hours fishing it has easy parking close to the River and Tarmac and Paved pathways. Opposite the Whitworth Bros plant there is a public park that has free car parking about 50m from the River and also public toilet facilities are available and usually a catering trailer for refreshments during the summer.

This venue is great for a days winter fishing using Breadpunch or Maggots for bags of Roach, Dace and Perch. The stretch also holds specimen Chub and Carp and specimen sized Pike

Some of the river carp around Wellingborough have grown to a fair size, many at 20lb and larger.
