Directions to Slipe Lane Pits
From Junction 25 of the M25
Take the A10 towards Hertford/Cheshunt, At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit following the A10 and signs to "Lee Valley Park Broxbourne", Continue along the A10 for approx 3km and take the A1170 exit signposted "Broxbourne" at the top of the slip road go right and take the second exit (signposted Hertfordshire Zoo) at the next roundabout take the A1170 signposted "Wormley, Broxbourne A1170" Follow the A1170 for approx 1km and Wharf Road will be on your right, between a row of shops, currently Mazi Cafe & Lifestyle Express (Wormley News). Drive down Wharf Road and you will reach the Railway Level crossing. Drive over the level crossing and follow the track for around 0.2km and there is a turning on the right (What3Words ///cans.risks.grapes)Take this turning and follow this track for 0.5km. Turn right and you'll see the locked gate(What3Words ///potato.square.sank). Once you have unlocked and passed through the gate (closing and locking iyt behind you) drive along the trak for 0.5km between Railway and Lea Pit and you will come to the car park which is nestled between Boot Pit and Marsh Pit.(What3Words ///horses.pans.secret). NOTE VEHICLES MUST NOT BE PARKED ALONG THE TRACK!!
