River Great Ouse - Lavendon Mill - Olney, Bucks Upstream Section

This Fishery is situated above the now defunct Lavendon Mill which is now used as a Farmhouse on the left hand side of the river between Olney and Turvey.

The Upstream section is from the brook Inlet through the next four fields to the spinney fence upstream of the weir.

This section is very wide, deep and slow flowing during the summer, with increased flow after heavy rainfall in the winter months.

The slower upstream section holds large Perch, Roach, Bream to 7lb+, Carp 24lb+ and Tench of 6lb+

Also Chub of 6lb+ make the odd appearance. There have also been reports of Barbel above the weir.
