The Luton AC Upstream section is from the brook Inlet through the next four fields to the spinney fence upstream of the weir.
This section is very wide, deep and slow flowing during the summer, with increased flow after heavy rainfall in the winter months.
Parking for the Upstream section is in the gated and fenced club car park off the B565 and it is a short walk across the field to the river.
FOR SAFETY REASONS - YOU MUST ONLY TURN LEFT TOWARDS OLNEY WHEN EXITING THE CAR PARK!!
-
Ensure all gates are closed after use as there is often livestock in the fields.
-
If the ground in the car park is very waterlogged the car park may be closed off. In which case members can park in the layby and access via the locked kissing gate
